CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Kicking Fundamentals

This class will begin with a 10-15  stretching session followed by some basic strength exercises (sit-ups, push-ups, etc.)

 

The class will go through 4-5 basic kicks from both stances to ensure evenly developed coordination. Head instructor, Sean will be directing and offering assistance with technique.

 

This class is open to both children and adults.

Boxing Fundamentals

This class will begin with a 10-15  stretching session followed by some basic strength exercises (sit-ups, push-ups, etc.) 

 

The class will partner up, with one holding focus mitts and the other person in gloves. 2 series of punches are done, with the first focusing on straight punches (jab and cross), and the second focusing on advanced punches (hooks & upper cuts) as well as slips. Sean also directs this class and will offer assistance with technique.

 

This class is open to both children and adults.

Advanced Striking

This class will begin with a 10-15 minute stretching session. 

 

This class will be more free flow with various training stations set up. Sean is also available to work with students one on one in 3-5 minute rounds for advanced training that requires a more watchful eye on form. Students are also free to pair up for various clinch and take-down drills.

 

This class is only open to adults.

Self Defense

This class will begin with a 10-15  stretching session followed by some basic strength exercises (sit-ups, push-ups, etc.)

 

This class will also include instruction in belt testing requirements as well as self defense techniques for both hand to hand combat and defense against weapons

 

This class is open to both children and adults.

Fundamental Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

 This class will begin with a 10-15  stretching session followed by some basic strength exercises (sit-ups, push-ups, etc.)

 

This class will focus more on drilling basic techniques such as positional security and the mechanics of submissions, there is no live rolling.

 

This class is open to both children and adults.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

This class will begin with a 10-15 minute stretching warm up.

 

The class will proceed to movement drills (shrimping, break fall, bridging, ect.) this is followed by positional instruction with a partner with 2-3 techniques being practiced. Class will end with 30 minutes of live rolling.

 

This class is only open to adults.
